WHO WE ARE

The Kenis Group at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is a cutting-edge lab at one of the premier institutes of chemical engineering in the United States. Currently, we focus on the electroreduction of CO2 to value-added intermediates, the electrooxidation of wastes to value-added intermediates, and the automated synthesis of quantum dots. Through these research pathways, we look to decrease industrial energy utilization, implement high-throughput synthesis methods, and have a lasting impact on global production processes.
